It began on an ordinary evening, with a single candle flickering in the quiet. As the flame danced and filled the room with warmth, we found ourselves captivated by the simple peace it brought. In that moment, we felt a spark of inspiration—to create something that could share this serenity with others.

Our journey started in the heart of our kitchen, where we poured our first candle by hand. What began as an experiment with natural soy wax and oils quickly turned into something more meaningful. Every scent we crafted evoked a memory, a feeling, and soon we realized we weren’t just making candles—we were crafting experiences.

We named it Citta, drawn from the Sanskrit word for mind and consciousness, as we wanted each candle to encourage mindfulness, presence, and tranquility. With every flame, we hoped to transform not just a room, but a moment—inviting a sense of calm into people’s lives.

As we grew from our kitchen into something larger, the heart of our mission remained the same: to create candles that carry with them the warmth, love, and intention with which they were made. We believe that each time you light a Citta Candles®, it brings more than just a glow—it brings a moment of peace, a touch of joy, and a reminder to slow down and savor life’s quiet beauty.

Citta Candles® are hand-poured in small batches  with 100% natural soy wax and premium quality fragrance oils, making them not only better for the environment, but also healthier for you and your loved ones.

Soy wax is a renewable resource and produces less soot when burned compared to traditional paraffin candles. In addition, Citta Candles®  are vegan, cruelty-free, and free from harmful chemicals such as phthalates and parabens.
